Ecole
Dijon is a local cooking class held in the Holladay home of Chef Drew. The
groups are small, never more than 8 in a session and the classes are geared to
the home cook, who has grown tired of cooking the same things over and over
again. Ecole Dijon also gives students the opportunity to watch a
professional cook prepare foods in an exciting and expeditious way!
The
atmosphere is very casual and warm and students can freely move around to see
what the chef is doing and there are times when "hands on" training is
available.
Last year
we had several theme classes: (1) Cooking from Your Fridge, Cupboards and
Pantry, (2) European Classic Appetizers, (3) Gourmet Entrees and (4) Holiday
Entertaining.
We will be
doing, basically, the same types of classes this year with the addition of a
weekly "Heart Healthy" recipe since we are all interested in eating
healthier foods.
At Ecole
Dijon we bake delicious breads and rolls every class!
Every
three to four weeks you can check the web site to see the current schedule of
classes and you can receive a discount for signing up on line.
Classes
are held every Monday night, except when it falls on a holiday, however, Chef
Drew is always available to schedule a private class for you and a group of at
least 6 friends. He also teaches private classes for children and
teenagers.
